Cloud vs On Premise: 2nd Consideration is Data Access

Hello, everyone John Stucky with TrinSoft. today I’m talking about on-premise applications versus Cloud applications And how you need to choose between the two we’re covering the top six factors to consider when making that choice today? Factor number two data access and privacy This has to do with where your data resides who has access to [it], and how private it might be every organization feels differently about the sensitivity to their data and the information that they manage and that they are responsible for if Your information is highly sensitive or perhaps you’re in an industry where it’s highly regulated such as healthcare or finance You need to be sure [that] the security measures in place That the data access is restricted and that only those people who need it will have access to it that it’s not subject to hackers or prying eyes in addition if a change is needed a change in application is needed or Integration needs to be installed you need to be sure that you have access to [that] information and can automate that transaction and get that project done the differences between Cloud on-premise here can be Monstrous cloud solutions sometimes the data access is very limited if you’re to change solutions it can be [very] hard to get your data out At the same time the well-known well-Regarded vendors have some of the best security measures in place and provide terrific AP for integration data access and migrations on Premise you need to have it Expertise there to protect your data to be a secure to be sure it’s secure and be sure it’s backed up and protected regularly So that’s the second factor You should consider when trying to decide between Cloud-based applications or on-premise applications?
