Kōdo App for SharePoint on-premise: Scan with onscreen proofing

My name is Gabe from Toshiba and today I’m going to show you just how easy it is to scan into SharePoint on-premise. The first thing I need to do is badge on,
that will authenticate me and take me into my SharePoint on-premise. Once the
operator panel loads I can then scan a document directly into the document
library of my team site. I simply select the folder, put the document in the
top feeder and hit scan. I do then get the opportunity to change and modify the
name of my document along with some additional scan settings. What’s great is
that I can actually change the file format of the document before I scan it
in and also have some additional, optional settings that I can choose that are OCR
required, but today I’m going to select PDF and I’m quite happy with that. So I’ll simply hit cancel. What I will do is turn on scan preview and I’ll select folder which allows it to create an additional folder within my document library named by the authenticated user which would be myself. Okay, ready to go and I just hit start. What now prompts is preview mode which is great as a soft proofing tool and allows me to see the document that I’ve scanned and ensure that I’ve got the correct
information in there before I commit to sending it through to SharePoint. Additionally if I wanted to add more documents into my scan, such as a hard
bound cover book or say an A3 document I can do that and I can actually scan
that from the flatbed glass as well. I simply place the document in the flatbed
and hit start. So once that’s completed as you’ll see on the screen, my A3
document has now scanned in I can touch it to zoom-in and have a better look to ensure that I have scanned the right document. Once I’m happy with that I
simply hit job finish and that will upload up to my SharePoint on-premise. My name is Gabe from Toshiba and that’s been my Toshiba-tip.
