Peter Hermann’s Top 5 Moments from Season 6 | Younger | TV Land

– So the top five moments of season six. (uplifting instrumental music) One of them wasn’t on camera at all It was a rehearsal with Sutton in a dance studio in Queens. This tiny, tiny little storefront studio. We were rehearsing for the dance number and I was just sitting
there in this tiny, tiny, tiny little studio with
this worn out wood floor and the owner was walking
around and he was excited that Sutton was there. And I was like, wow, I got
to do really cool stuff! Another favorite moment
was getting to work as much as I did with Hillary. – I think we’ll be stronger together. – Welcome home Charles. – She’s so great and so accomplished and it was really fun to
actually get to spend more time working with her with her
than I had in seasons past. – This is a woman who has made nothing but smart decisions for this company since she has been in a
position to make decisions. – Number three is it’s the scene between Diana and Liza where
Diana tries to figure out why Liza could possible have taken this job that is so beneath her. – And for the life of
me I cannot come up with one good answer to the question. What self respecting adult would go to those lengths for this job? To get me coffee, and chopped salad? To hand stitch my pants,
to clean out my birdcage? To bring my urine sample to the doctor? To hold my hand when I was
alone on the red carpet? To convince me to fight for
Enzo and I chased him away. Who would do that? – [Peter] It dawns on her
as she lists these things that Liza did it simply
because she loves her. – I did all those things for you. – And then, that beautiful ending where Diana’s about to say
something to that effect and she asks for some
stack of papers instead and then, and then Liza answers with, – I love you too. – Miriam and Sutton are so incredibly good at what they do and they inhabit the
characters that they play so beautifully and so it was right there, and so alive. I just thought that was exquisite. And I loved, I loved seeing Diana in her wedding dress. It was just beautiful, and it was beautiful to see
Enzo look at Diana that way. And to find her, in all
her turmoil so at peace, and kind of brought to a peace
by the way that he sees her. I thought that was just, it was so beautifully done. I think my favorite
moment of the season is, shooting the scene where Liza goes into my office and tries to intercept
the letter from Kelsey. – Hi, good morning. Oh right! I left this for you. It’s a, it’s a letter, for you, but you shouldn’t read it the office
because it’s inappropriate. No, it just it’s, really sexy stuff and just like dirty. So I um, I wrote, it’s a limerick I wrote you a limerick that’s it. – It was one of the funniest
things I have ever seen Sutton do ah, and it was, it was one of those
times where you saw the, the whole crew, you sort of
saw everybody’s shoulders quaking, cause everybody
was trying not to laugh. – Now I really want to read it. – But there have been
times when I’ve said, you can’t do it like that
because I won’t be able to, I won’t be able to survive. And it was just great, so funny. Thank you for an amazing, amazing season. We are going to be back for season seven.
